We build software products for teams worldwide.
Skambha is a software studio. We design, build, and run our own products — and we bring that same product engineering to client work for companies across the US, Europe, and beyond.
Skambha is Sanskrit for pillar — the cosmic support that holds up the world.
In the Atharvaveda's Skambha Sūkta, it is the frame on which sky and earth rest, the axis everything else hangs from.
It is load-bearing by nature: quiet, upright, and built to carry weight without buckling.
We took the name because that is the work — building the foundations that products and teams stand on.
The pillar you never notice, until you lean on it.
Our products
Four products we design, build, and operate in-house.
Wild World of Teja
LiveWildlife photography & field storytelling.
Galleries, field journals, and conservation stories from the wild — a home for wildlife photography and the journeys behind each frame.
Birding Logistics
LivePlan birding trips across India and beyond.
Guides, homestays, hides, itineraries, and seasonal notes for birding locations across India — the logistics layer that gets birders to the right place at the right time.
Photoniks
LiveTools for photographers.
A workflow and gallery platform built for photographers — organise, present, and share a body of work without the busywork.
Safari Explorer
LiveDiscover and plan safari adventures.
Explore parks, build itineraries, and track wildlife sightings — a companion for planning safari trips and making the most of time in the field.
What we do for clients

Web & product engineering
End-to-end web products in the modern React/Next.js stack — from first prototype to a maintainable, shipped application.
Enterprise application development
Line-of-business systems, internal tools, and back-office platforms — built to scale and to integrate cleanly with your existing stack.
Mobile development
Native and cross-platform iOS and Android apps, taken from concept through to App Store and Play Store release.
IoT & connected devices
Firmware-to-cloud solutions: device connectivity, telemetry pipelines, and dashboards for fleets of connected hardware.
Cloud migration
Move on-premise systems to the cloud — re-platforming, containerisation, and cost-aware AWS, GCP, and Azure architecture.
Data, APIs & integrations
Pipelines, third-party integrations, and clean, typed APIs that connect your systems and surface your data.
AI workflow optimisation
Put AI to work in your processes — automating workflows, integrating LLMs, and building copilots that cut busywork and speed teams up.
